It is narrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (as) that whoever recites this surah in his nawafil (recommended) prayers will not die as a result of an earthquake and will be saved from all the natural calamities. The experience of death is made easy for the one who recites this surah and he sees the light of Jannah as he is about to die. Then, seventy thousand angels accompany his soul to the heavens.
