This is al-Cherubim monastery on top of a mountain in al-Qalamoun region in Damascus countryside. Foreign- backed militants continuously attack the monastery coming from Rankous in an attempt to reach and take over Sednaya town in Damascus countryside. More than one hundred Takfiri militants from the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra front and brigades of the so-called Free Syrian Army were killed during an attack they launched on Sunday against the monastery. Machineguns, RPGs and other types of weapons were seized. Militants in Badda, Talfita and Rankous areas which surround Sednaya increased their mortar attacks on the town following their defeat.
