Show More >>With the blessings of Ahlul Bayt a.s the Shia community in Dublin have humbled themselves by staging a Procession (Jaloos) to commemorate the epic martyrdom of Imam Hussain a.s along with his companions and household on the land of Karbala, Iraq. The procession was staged to highlight the ordeals and steadfastness of Ahlul Bayt in defending the fundamental tenets of Islam which were being threatened by the Tyrant Yazid. Also, let the message of Karbala be known to all. Imam Hussain said \" A person like me will never surrender to a person like Yazid\". The procession started from Coolmine Industrial Estate, Dublin, Ireland at 1400 hrs and finished at 1530 hrs on 14 Nov, 2013.
