Show More >>The Pakistani Army says at least 35 militants have been killed during military operations by security forces in South Waziristan agency in northwest Pakistan.
Official sources told Press TV that the operation against Baitullah Mehsud and Taliban militants is under way in South Waziristan tribal region as the troops have targeted several pockets of the militants in an effort to clear the region.
Thirty five militants have been killed in the region during the last 24 hours, the official said.
According to the sources, security forces have attacked militants' hideouts in Brond, Sarokei, Kotkei, Mola Khan Suriai and destroyed three hideouts including one of their important centers Show Less >>
